Rob Schneider was born October 31, 1963 in San Francisco,
California. He was a stand-up comic for a while, opening for such comedians as
Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, and Dana Carvey. In 1990 he performed on HBO's "13th
Annual Young Comedians Special" with future cast members Dennis Miller and David
Spade. SNL producer Lorne Michaels spotted Rob on the show and hired him as a
writer. Later becoming a featured player and then a cast member, Rob created
such characters as The Sensitive Naked Man, the Richmeister, and mastered
impressions of K.D. Lang, Elvis, and others.
After SNL, Rob got roles in several films including Home Alone 2, Down Periscope, Adventures of Pinocchio, and Judge Dredd with Sylvester Stallone. Then he went on to star in his own sitcom, Men Behaving Badly, with Justine Bateman.
